This is a translation of our policy, which is governed by Colombian law. If there is any difference between versions, the Spanish version prevails.
KairIA (hereinafter, "KairIA") is responsible for processing the personal data you provide to us through this website, WhatsApp or email, in compliance with Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013 of the Republic of Colombia.

2. Data we process
Depending on how you contact us, we may process:
- Name and contact details (email, phone or WhatsApp)
- Your company name and job title, where applicable
- The content of the messages you voluntarily send us
- Basic technical browsing data on the site (for analytics purposes)
We do not request or process sensitive data (health, biometric data, political opinions, religious beliefs, among others). If you spontaneously share sensitive data with us, it will not be processed automatically and will be handled directly by a person.
3. Purpose of processing
- Answering your commercial or technical inquiries
- Scheduling meetings or demonstrations of our services
- Quoting, providing and supporting the artificial intelligence and automation services you hire
- Sending you information you expressly request
4. International transfer and transmission of data
To operate, we use technology providers with servers outside Colombia. In particular:
- Meta / WhatsApp Business (United States): for WhatsApp messaging
- Vercel (United States): for hosting this website
- Artificial intelligence providers: depending on the tool and the service, we may use Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek or other open-source models hosted by third parties, both on this site and in the solutions we build for our clients
The virtual assistant "Kai" on this site, in particular, currently uses DeepSeek (China) and does not keep the history of your conversations: it lives only in your browser for the duration of the session.
Providers located in the United States have recognized international transfer mechanisms (standard contractual clauses or other equivalent mechanisms). When the artificial intelligence provider used is located in a country without a declaration of adequate data protection by Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (such as China), the transfer is made only with the data you voluntarily share with us when using that specific tool.
5. Retention period
We keep your data for as long as our business relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the time required by applicable law (for example, accounting or tax obligations). WhatsApp conversations are kept for up to 12 months from the last contact, unless a legal or contractual obligation requires a different period.
6. Your rights as data subject
As the data subject, you have the right to:
- Know, update and correct your personal data
- Request proof of the authorization you granted
- Be informed about how we have used your data
- Revoke the authorization and/or request the deletion of your data, when no legal or contractual duty prevents it
- File complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for violations of the law
7. How to exercise your rights
You can exercise any of these rights by writing to hola@kairia.co with your request. Inquiries are answered within a maximum of 10 business days and claims within a maximum of 15 business days, as provided by law. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The date of the last update will always be shown at the beginning of this document.
